What Instub is

Instub is a tagging layer for AI work inside your team's existing chat platform. Instead of switching to a separate AI tool, you tag a task in Slack or Microsoft Teams and Instub routes it to the right model, runs it, and returns the result in the same thread.

Model-agnostic by design

Instub does not lock you to any single AI provider. A job can route to Claude, GPT-4o, Gemini, Grok, or a local model based on what the task needs — and that routing is auditable. You can see which model ran what, and why.

It lives where work already happens

The interface is a tag. Type @Instub followed by a description of the task. Instub reads the thread for context, selects a model, runs the job, and posts the result back in-thread — no context switching, no copy-pasting between tools.

Approval before action

Instub asks before it sends, spends, submits, or purchases on your behalf. Actions that leave your workspace — sending a message, calling an API, writing a file — pause for human approval unless you've configured a policy that pre-authorises them.

Connected to your tools

Instub connects to the tools your team already uses: Notion, Linear, GitHub, Stripe, Google Drive, and more. Integrations are scoped to the person who connects them — Instub acts with your Notion access on your say-so, not a shared service account.
