Your first job
A job is what Instub calls a single unit of work — one tag, one run, one result. This page walks through what a job looks like from start to finish.
Starting a job
Tag Instub in any channel it's a member of:
@Instub draft a reply to the customer message above, formal tone
Instub reads the thread for context, selects the model best suited to the task, and starts the run. You'll see a small status indicator while it works.
Reviewing the result
When the job completes, Instub posts the result in the same thread. It includes:
- The output itself
- The model that ran it
- How many credits were used
- A link to the full run log
Approving actions
If the job involves an action that leaves your workspace — sending a message, calling an API, writing a file — Instub will pause and ask for approval before proceeding. Reply with approve or deny in the thread.
Running a job again
To re-run the same job with different input, reply in the thread with the new input. Instub carries the thread context forward.
